During my internship at Ascentec Engineering I designed a table for their newly purchased drill press.
To reduce cost the table was designed around dimensions of square tube steel the shop had as scrap.
Mechanical Design:
- Designed in Fusion360
- Parts manufactured out of steel using bandsaw and grinder
- Included shelf for shop vac, as well as peg board for tool bits per floor worker's requests
